Figural painting in hanging picture

A content of the bachelor thesis is a theoretical reflection about possibilities of a painted depiction of a human figure and a phenomenon of a hanging picture. The theme of the figural painting is further applied to an educationally-therapeutic practice as an art activity subject for people with mental retardation. The work also contains a documentation of the author's own painting and its reflection. Felis versus Felix - Symbolic and narative content (of Cat) in Art and Art education

The theme of this diploma thesis is Felis versus Felix - symbolical and narrative content within art and arts education. This thesis is both theoretical and practical study of the topic. Theoretical part is concerned with understanding key words, their meaning, cat itself, its symbolic, history, properties, and connotations connected to it. The author of the thesis maps the occurrence of cat in art and literature, which she supports by specific examples. She further offers using the theme of the thesis in arts education and introduces already existing art set called "Animal within us". The author proposes another possibilities of using the theme within pedagogical practise. Practical part of the thesis stems from results of heuristic preparation. It contains two sets of art works of various but interconnected nature.

What is criticism, what is not and what use is in the world. Typology of Czech literary criticism in the years 1995-2008

This bachelor's thesis describes the development of literary criticism conception and it's earlier typology. The thesis deals with the difference between literary criticism and reviews - how these dissimilarities appear in theory and in practice. The applicable typology for present Czech literary criticism has been suggested in this thesis. The typology mentioned divides literary criticism into two main types: text-oriented criticism and context-oriented criticism. It discusses the development of value conception and what is a value even nowadays. For contemporary literary critics it is originality, credibility of the work and composition. It provides information on how criticism is presented by individual Czech periodicals including Host, A2, Revolver Revue, Tvar, Souvislosti and Literární noviny.

Dance by image. (A dance movement as a theme in art and art education)

The thesis focuses on the fusion of theoretical knowledge of visual art and dance art. The practical use of this knowledge has resulted in the realization of presented dance choreographies which are inspired by non-traditional artistic forms such as performance or happening, and are using their methods. The key point of the whole thesis is the movement, which is seen as a crucial part of the dance and visual arts, as well as a primary essence of the human existence. My work also shows how the theme of movement can be used when working with children. In various etudes with children, it includes various art techniques (drawing, painting, spatial creation). The practical part focuses on the expression of human emotions through the specific movements of the body, in the form of dance choreographies. It also uses new technologies, where photographs and video footage serve as an output. At the same time, the thesis shows the process of collaboration with other artists and necessary communication with them, which represents one of the crucial parts of the origin of an art work and one important chapter of this work as well. The attitude of Prague high school students towards marijuana

This bachelor thesis examines attitudes of high school students in Prague to marijuana use and also the prevalence of use itself. Despite the highest prevalence of marijuana use in the Czech high schools, compared to other adolescents in Europe, it is not elaborated what differences are within the user group and what are the factors, that influence attitudes to use in Prague. The issue is viewed from the perspective of the theory of social control. The concept of risk behavior is also used. The empirical part is a secondary analysis of ESPAD data and consists of statistical tests of quantitative data.

Next, he shortly introduces origins of marijuana as a drug and risks associated with usage. At the end of theoretical part, he shows legislation related to marijuana in Czech Republic. The Technical Monuments in Třeboň Region And How to Use Them in Primary School Education

The topic of this thesis is called "Technical Landmarks in the Třeboňsko Region and their Application in First Grade Primary School Education." The theoretical part focuses on project teaching and the competencies of the first grade primary school pupil in the area of technical education according to the FEP for basic education, chapter "Humans and Their World (Člověk a jeho svět)". Furthermore, this thesis deals with technical landmarks in the Třeboňsko region. The practical part contains several technical landmarks which may be used as inspiration when creating educational projects for structural and technical education. Some of these projects have been applied in teaching in a small-class primary school. The final part of the thesis contains questionnaires given to first grade primary school teachers to test the indicative functionality of these projects.

Nature versus city (The tension in between of these phenomenons as theme in art and art education )

The thema of my thesis is Nature versus City. The terms nature and the city are presented as separate and connected terms in the theoretical part, which is the focus of the thesis. The relationship between nature and cities is presented like inconsistent and also like consistent. The aim of the theoretical part is to answer questions about whether nature in towns is important to their inhabitants and why. The thema nature versus the city is connected with fine arts, concrete examples of artists and their works. Among other things, I deal with the concepts of ecology and the environment across the work. I deal also with questions about the current social and environmental situation of the planet, which are complemented by examples of artists who incorporate this theme into their works, emerge from the text. My own art work is based on the theoretical part, its center is performance in the public space. I have come up with gradual development to the final performance, which simultaneously had site-specific features. The theoretical part is followed by art education etudes, in which the relationship of nature and the city is transformed, in parallel with the integration of environmental education.
